about

the thought cloud..
I completed Fine Art Research with focus on etching and traditional studio methods; the original and 'old' always appealed to me and I wanted to learn what was there to be learned to preserve solid printing practice.
My passion for etching springs from the drawing actually; from early age - my school books were hopelessly plastered with doodles of all sorts and hardly resembled school notebooks; my hand was restless - had to draw, had to sketch, had to move..

My work can be divided into three main streams; first one being themed on landscape views (usually country scapes or woodlands). Second aimed at young audience, with children in mind-images of childhood stories and magical lands and creatures. The third branch of my work is spiritual, created with religious context in mind and heart.
Please walk with me, through the woods that I walked and through the wind-swept grasslands that I combed through in my wellies (that gave me many ticks too!) - I invite you to take that journey with me.
however....

As much as I would like to create artwork to reflect only the aesthetic motions of my heart and spirit.. unavoidably I cannot escape the political sphere of life...
